23-Apr-2025 -- Auf unserer Tour nach Berlin lag dieser CP, als erster auf dieser Tour, quasi direkt auf dem Weg.

Von der B2 abgebogen folgten wir der B13 und nach nur einmal weiter abbiegen kamen wir nach insgesamt ca 10 min an dem nördlich gelegenen Wanderparkplatz Thäleinschlag an (auf GoogleMaps zwischen CP und Weißenburg).

Das Auto geparkt, ging es für uns links auf dem Trampelpfad in den schönen sonnigen Wald. Begleitet von lautem Vogelgezwitscher und dem klopfen eines aufgeregten Buntspechts kamen wir nach ca 7 min auf einen frisch gemachten Forstweg. Diesem folgten wir rechts weiter Richtung CP-Punkt. Nach weiteren 10 min auf dem Schotterweg kamen wir an einem Hochsitz auf der linken Seite vorbei und nur wenige Meter weiter kam auch schon der CP auf der linken Seite nur wenige Schritte vom Weg, noch vor der Steigung.

Nach kurzem GPS Tanz, den Fotos und kleiner Pause folgten wir dann dem selben Weg zurück zu unserem Auto und waren nach insgesamt ca 40 min glücklich zurück und machten uns auf den Weg in den Norden und zu unserem nächsten CP auf der Reise.

23-Apr-2025 -- On our trip to Berlin, this CP was the first one on the tour.

Turning off the B2, we followed the B13, and after only one further turn, we arrived at the Thäleinschlag hiking car park (in the north from the CP) after about 10 minutes (on Google Maps, it's between the CP and Weißenburg).

Then we walked left into the beautiful, sunny forest. Accompanied by loud birdsong and the tapping of an excited woodpecker, we reached a freshly groomed forest road after about 7 minutes. We followed this road to the right towards the CP. After another 10 minutes on the new road, we passed a tree stand on the left, and just a few meters further on, the CP appeared on the left, just a few steps from the trail.

After a quick GPS dance, some photos, and a short break, we followed the same route back to our car and, after a total of about 40 minutes, we were driving to the next one.
