  40°N 0° (visit #11)

#1: The confluence point is 10m that way (West), probably inside the building to the left

(visited by Ross Finlayson)

11-Aug-2025 -- For my final visit to a Degree Confluence Point during my vacation in Spain (and to celebrate my 66th birthday :-), I chose this significant point: On the Prime Meridian, and at 40 Degrees North. Unfortunately I knew that - because the point lies within a private residence - I would not be able to get ‘all zeros’, but would try to get as close as I could.

I first visited the ‘official’ marker (recorded in a datum other than WGS84), in nearby “Parque Meridiano”. The official marker is 165m away from the WGS84 Degree Confluence Point.

Then, by walking North along Carrerasa de la Gallenca, I got to 10m (+/- GPS error of 2m) East of the point.
