04-Feb-2001 -- I have two reasons to visit this particular confluence. First of
all I grew up in the area. Secondly my kids and I were on our way to
visit my sister in the town of St. Paul about 30 miles east of the
above confluence. Lucky for us the confluence was located on the edge
of a field/forest area next to the road. Parking the car in a roadside
approach the kids and I walked across the field to the forest edge
where the confluence exists. The kids found the walking to be somewhat
difficult because of the hard packed but shallow snow cover. In the end
I had to carry my 4 1/2 year old daughter but my son managed to make the
hike. Returning to the car we continued our trip to St. Paul.
