Wieder fahre ich über kleine Straßen direkt nach Osten.

Ich fahre nach heruntergeladenen Karten von Mapy CZ. Doch die kennen nicht die neusten Wege im Zielgebiet. Ich merke es erst, als ich an einigen Häusern mitten im Wald, etwa einen Kilometer vom Confluenzpunkt entfernt ankomme.

Auf Google hatte ich gesehen, dass sich der Nullpunkt direkt neben einem Haus auf einer Wiese befindet.

Mit mobilen Daten finde ich über Google die Zufahrt zu dem Grundstück.

Vor diesem stehen in einem kleinen Tal viele Hundehütten mit lärmenden Hunden..

Ich lasse meinen Bus stehen und gehe über dem Weg zum Haupthaus. Es ist niemand da. So gehe ich weiter. Hinter einem nächsten Haus befindet sich der Nullpunkt und die erforderlichen Bilder sind schnell gemacht..

Als ich zurück zum Bus gehe kommt ein Auto. Der Fahrer sieht mich verwundert an, sagt aber nichts. Er geht zu den Hunden um sie zu füttern.

Ich fahre weiter bis zum Ende der Straße. Das ist aktuell auch das Ende unserer Möglichkeiten an die Grenze zu Russland heranzufahren, in Narva-Jösuu.

Dort plane ich in einem Restaurant meine weitere Fahrt. Ich besuche für einen kurzen Spaziergang Narva und fahre für die Nacht auf den Parkplatz am Nonnenkloster in Kurmäe, welches ich am zeitigen Morgen für über zwei Stunden besuche.

Once again, I drive eastwards along small roads.

I follow maps downloaded from Mapy CZ. However, these do not show the latest routes in the destination area. I only notice this when I arrive at some houses in the middle of the forest, about one kilometer from the confluence point.

I had seen on Google that the zero point is located right next to a house on a meadow.

Using mobile data, I find the access road to the property via Google.

In front of it, in a small valley, there are many dog kennels with noisy dogs.

I leave my van where it is and walk across the path to the main house. There is no one there. So I continue on my way. Behind the next house is the zero point, and I quickly take the necessary photos.

As I walk back to the van, a car approaches. The driver looks at me in surprise but says nothing. He goes to feed the dogs.

I continue to the end of the road. This is currently the furthest we can drive to the Russian border, up to Narva-Jösuu.

There, I plan the rest of my journey in a restaurant. I take a short walk around Narva and spend the night in the car park at the nunnery in Kurmäe, which I visit for over two hours early in the next morning.
