30-Jun-2026 -- This is the second confluence on my wife's birthday trip. We were headed back to the airport to head to Tunis when she fell asleep in the car and I routed us to this CP, which lies about 30 minutes SW of PMO, the Palermo Airport.

Google satellite images showed a road leading to within a 100 meters of the CP, but failed to show the condition of the road. We passed a few ruinous buildings with a least one inhabited residence.

It was a rough dirt track past some ruins to a simple plastic tube gate across the road. Though I harbored a bit of reluctance, it was easy to open the gate and continue another few hundred meters by car to a freshly plowed field. By this point Misha woke up and was none to pleased to learn that we made an unexpected detour. But the CP was just a 3-minute walk along a hedge row of prickly pear cactus. A break in the fence allowed easy access directly to the CP and we were able to immediately zero in on the coordinates.
