(visited by Herman de Haan, Ton Vink, Farhad Keshavarz and Hüseyin Kılıçaslan)
01-Sep-2026 -- After being on Mount Ararat for four days (unsuccessful attempt for the top because of bad weather), we visited three confluence points in the east of Turkey, which had not been visited before: 39N 44E,
39N 43E and 39N 42E. During this confluence point trip we drove around lake Van.
At 9:15 a.m. we left Doğubayazıt by car (Toyota Corolla) and drove to 39N 44E which was quite easy. The roads are very good. During the confluence point visit, two friendly locals (father and son) walked towards us and asked questions about our visit.
