24-Feb-2001 -- Another Saturday, another point. I drove from Minden, LA, to Logansport, LA, and in Logansport turned north on LA 764. About a mile and a half from beautiful downtown Logansport, DeSoto Parish Whitten Road turns east. It is a gravel road that soon becomes an oilfield road maintained by Cross Timbers Operating Company in the Logansport Oil and Gas Field.

One-half mile from the state highway, another oilfield road branches north at 94 degrees west longitude. The confluence point is off the west side of this road about 100 yards north. Too easy.
