29-Apr-2001 -- Located in the Lower Glenelg National Park, Victoria. Approximately 1 Km south of the Glenelg River. 25 Km South East of Mt Gambier and about 5 Km North East of the town of Nelson.
After driving along a dirt road to the Glenelg River we parked in a carpark for a lookout over the river, at a distance of about 1500m. We walked west along a fire track that ran along side the river til we came to within 800 metres of the confluence. As it was now at right angles with the track we proceeded through very thick bush, until we reached it.
For any future vistors to this confluence, try starting at S38°00.235 E141°00.811 (WGS-84) and walk along the disused trail. Although overgrown in some parts, it leads almost straight to the confluence (as we found out).
