31-Mar-2001 -- Up until now we had been experiencing confluence adventures that entained some walking and some nice pictures. This confluence was anything but that. Jody did not even waste the time of shutting down the navigation station (Laptop PC with Street Atlas Running, connected to a Garmin eTrex Legend and a DC inverter power supply) in the car to get out for the pictures. The GPSs (Garmin III+, eTrex Legend, and the not often seen Trimble Scoutmaster) stayed in the car, and we were parked within 80 feet of the confluence. The confluence would apparently be in the house or in the front yard, but seeing that we are on a roll and needing two more conflunce and nine more hours of driving we took some pictures and moved on.
