27-May-2001 -- I was at a mountain bike race with my sons in the Annapolis valley of Nova Scotia. This is a very beautiful place in late May as the apple orchards and other fruit trees are all in bloom.
The race was only about 10 km from 45 N 65 W so I couldn't resist visiting my second confluence. This one had already be visited but John Canfield and Nick Cline had been there on a winter night so I thought I would try for a better picture on this summer day.
The road went within 250 m and the first 50 m were across an open field. Then 200 m in open forest of mixed hardwoods and few softwoods. Finding the site was easy except that GPS signal was a little week from the trees. The actual confluence was just like everywhere else and doesn't make a very good picture, even in the summer.
