23-Jun-2001 -- Midsummer Day. A very warm and sunny day. After visiting the national park of Sonfjallet, we went to Sveg and then into the province of Hälsingland.

In this area they hunt bear and elk. Only a few kilometers from the confluence a bear has recently been shot.

We parked the car half a kilometer north of the main road, on a forest road and walked westwards 300 meters to the accompaniment of dogs' barking. They heard us talking and apparently didn't like it.

We followed a transmission line down to a small peat moss covered with small birches. Even the mosquitoes had found the place. Took the photos and returned to car.
