27-Aug-2001 -- It's nice to find one of those easy confluences occasionally. This one was much easier than some I've searched for. What it lacks in excitement, it makes up for in easy access. 29°S 150°E is seven kilometres off the Newell Highway which is the inland route between Brisbane and Sydney and Melbourne, south of the evocatively named town of Boggabilla.
The confluence is only 90 metres off the road in a grassy patch between large Belah trees. The land around this point is mostly used for cotton and grain growing.
