23-Sep-2001 -- During our trip in Umbria, I and Serena have found some time to visit this confluence. At 11 of the morning we have departed from Passignano and we have made a beautiful street line on the east bank of the lake Trasimeno, in direction of Chiusi. Once arrived in proximity of the meridian 12°E following the indications of the GPS, we are penetrated with the car in a private road. To around 200 meters from the spot have parked and we are started afoot there; crossing a cultivation of sunflowers and a vineyard we have reached destination, to the borders of a small wood.

Ours greatest surprise has been to discover that the confluence had already been visited by other people before us, despite any declaration had not been published on the “Confluence” website (to testimony we can see a page of the Austrian daily paper “Kurier”).

Looking around us, from the spot it is visible at north-west the city of Chiusi, situated on a hill, to south a farmhouse, to west a beautiful field of Sunflowers.

The rest of the day we have gone to a visit of Chiusi, and plan our next objectives... talk to you soon!
