09-Jan-2002 -- From the confluence at Hamlin, AB I headed west following Highway 28 to find the next confluence on 54 00 000N. My trip took me throught the quiet village of Radway,AB and then south.

While on Rge Rd 211 I quickly found 54 00 000N and the goal was only 45 m to the east. But it was not to be! A 2 m high game fence stood in my way. I checked with the nearest farmer who told me that the fence had confined deer in the past. Now there were only cattle. I sought permission from the current owner, but no one was home. I was not about to open a series of gates on my own and so I did not reach this confluence.

Coordinator's Note: Although the visitor submitted this as an attempt, they did get to well within the required 100m distance, so this visit is considered to be a success.
