17-Mar-2002 -- After my visit to 46°N 13°E I left the A13 at Rovigo and continued via Adria to Curicchi on bank of the river Po. Thanks to the excellent description by Captain Peter I turned from the SP33 into the ‘via peschiera’. While passing some abandoned farmhouses on the local road I reached the closest point within a group of farmsteads.
Along the irrigation trenches and around the described ploughed fields (which were still in the same condition like in the autumn, but fortunately dry) and reached the confluence from the east. I had to enter the field for ~42 m in direction west, northwest, where the car was parked.
While the surrounding fields were already green or seed activities were in progress it seemed that the CP field was not touched this year. On the way back to the car I had a closer look at the desolate farmhouse nearby. Two local guys passed riding a scooter and then came back to ask me whether my doing has a connection with some sort of rally, they were looking for. My explanation about the DCP-project did not really impress them.
After having a snack I went back to the A13 at Ferrara Nord and continued my journey to Taranto.
