01-May-2002 -- Una nueva confluencia se plantea tras enseñar la que realicé con mi familia a Seve, compañera de fatigas en los estudios de Geografía. Y esta nueva confluencia podía ser la situada en la zona de Carboneras y Agua Amarga, en la vecina Almería.

Planeamos la visita para el día 1 de Mayo, festivo en conmemoración del día del trabajador. Y temprano nos pusimos en marcha. Tras dos horas de viaje llegamos a la zona donde debíamos encontrar este punto, en el cauce del río Alías, más conocido en la comarca como rambla de Carboneras.

Nos aproximamos andando hacia el punto que nos indicaba el GPS, a unos 360 metros de nuestra posición. Este camino nos lleva a lo alto de una colina que termina en un cortado, a falta de unos 40 metros, por lo que tuvimos que retroceder. Retomada la situación, rodeamos esta colina y llegamos al punto de confluencia donde el GPS se vuelve a llenar de ceros.

Reconocemos la zona, casi un cañaveral a los pies de la pared vertical de la colina, tomamos las oportunas fotografías y tras, disfrutar del momento, abandonamos la zona dirigiéndonos a la cercana Carboneras.

El mar mediterráneo se abre ante nosotros con toda su belleza resaltada por el entorno casi desértico de esta bella zona almeriense.

La consecución de esta confluencia la celebramos tomando unas sardinas al borde este precioso mar y, posteriormente, decidimos regresar siguiendo la carretera de la costa, hacia Mojacar y , finalmente, Murcia. Una zona preciosa que merece una nueva visita y, posiblemente, una ampliación de la información sobre el entorno de este lugar de confluencia.

01-May-2002 -- A new confluence is presented after teaching the one that carried out with my family to Seve, companion of fatigues in the studies of Geography. And this new confluence could be it situated in the zone of Carboneras and Agua Amarga, in the neighboring one Almería.

We plan visits it for the day May 1, the day of the worker. And early we set in motion ourselves. After two hours of trip we arrive at the zone where they should find this point, in the river bed of the river Alías, better known in the region as “rambla” of Carboneras.

We approach walking toward the point that indicated us the GPS, to some 360 meters of our position. This road carries us to the high thing of a hill that finishes in a cut one, to lack of some 40 meters, for which we had to go back. We surround this hill and we arrive to the point of confluence where the GPS returns to fill of zeros.

We recognize the zone, almost a “cañaveral” to the feet of the vertical wall of the hill, we take the opportune photographs and after, to enjoy the moment, we abandon the zone directing us to the nearby one Carboneras.

The mediterranean sea is opened before us with all its beauty stood out by the almost desert landscape of this beautiful zone.

The attainment of this confluence we celebrate it taking some “sardines” al edge this precious sea and, subsequently, we decide to return following the highway of the coast, toward Mojacar and, finally, Murcia. A precious zone that deserves a new visit and, possibly, an enlargement of the information upon the proximity of this place of confluence.
