30-Jun-2002 -- This confluence is almost in a little lake. 10 meters from water in a swamp. Luckily there is just a patch of dry land. You can get as close as 800 meters by car.

Then it is quite easy to follow old tracks in the forest. I visited the place with my cousin Jyrki Hooli and his wife Merja Hooli. We saw also three common cranes and one big western capercaillie on the way to the confluence. And lots of mosquitos.

The weather was quite good as the thunderstorms passed the place a couple of hours before the visit.
