03-Mar-2003 -- This visit was, I believe, a world record event. We chose the date 03-03-03 just to make it a little more special. It was the first time in the history of the world that anyone has documented visits to an antipodal pair of land-based integer co-ordinate latitude and longitude intersections. 0n 12 May 2001 Christine and I visited 37S 175E, completing the first Confluence Project antipodal pair after Bent and Tove had previously visited here. Nearly two years later we made it to Spain to personally complete the double and a world first.
In the two years since Bent and Tove were here the gravel road has been sealed and the weeds have grown, rather spoiling the photos.
