23-Nov-2000 -- This confluence was the first of two we visited. On the map,
it appeared to be maybe a mile off the highway. We parked on
the highway at 37N, and walked due west for about 45 minutes
to get to the confluence. Nothing too remarkable in the area.
It is typical Southern Nevada terrain, dirt, rocks, washes,
gullies, sage, and other typical desert flora. The redness
in my photos came from my camera deciding to screw up on me,
and I had to open the camera slighly to advance the film.
Next time, I will be carrying a spare camera.
