29-Jun-2003 -- Continuing our confluence adventure and having completed 40N-124W earlier in the day, 40N-122W was our next goal.

It looked and, from a previous visitor, sounded to be an easy drive-up site. As we approached along the road from the southwest the road began to narrow and it would have taken us through an open gate towards the confluence but clearly posted on either side of the gate were large no trespassing signs.

We were less than two miles from this intersection. Two vehicles traveling together (especially when one is a RV) along a very quiet road with nice houses tends to arouse interest from the neighbors. We elected to turn around and pursue other confluences on our way back.

I realized after we had turned around and were heading out that for the second time on this trip I did not take a picture of the gate and the no trespassing signs for everybody else to see - rats!
