29-Feb-2000 -- I had tried to find the Confluence a few months earlier using topo maps and aerial photos, but the Manzanita scrub was too dense. I got my GPS finally and went back, It looks like the owners are going to be putting in houses. They had cleared all Manzanita away and it was a simple walk to the confluence. Less than 1/4 mile from the road, only 100 feet or so from a driveway. Kelsie and Shelbie went with me on this adventure. They are beginning to suspect their Dad is a little silly.
