07-Dec-2003 -- Español Para llegar a este CP o PUNTO necesité caminar con un kayak hasta la orilla de un lago, que cubrió un gran bosque para el embalse de Guri

Tres alternativas fueron evaluadas para tener éxito. El primer intento fue el 26 de octubre, el viaje terminó debido al coche inadecuado (FORD FIESTA Pic5). La segunda oportunidad el 23 de noviembre lo realice junto a Josef que usaba un 4x4, nos pudimos acercar a 5.54 kilómetros del CP. Entonces estábamos parados en la orilla del lago artificial de Guri (Pic6). Para alcanzar esta meta tuvimos que intentarlo varias veces este día (Pic7).

El tercer acercamiento fue planeado para diciembre 7. Con un Kayak que me presto el CABEZON de Carlos Ordaz, de este modo me prepare porque a la tercera va la vencida como dicen en Venezuela. Sin embargo ese domingo tuve algunas dificultades que manejar para no fracasar en mi meta. Después de que un recorrido de aproximadamente 100 kilómetros busque en mi alrededor no estaba el REMO para manejar el Kayak. Fui rápido al carro y maneje de regreso al apartamento, y ahí estaba el REMO esperándome muy sonriente yo también quiero ir al CP. Nuevamente tuve que manejar otros 100 Km. Lo que suman 300 Km. Y no había visto mi PUNTO. Por la tarde temprana alcancé el punto de partida previsto como lo había planeado luego de la segunda visita. La ruta era muy interesante y hermosa (Pic8).

El camino es mas difícil de lo que yo había pensado. Finalmente todo listo para iniciar el viaje en kayak (Pic9). De nuevo otro problema mi cámara, donde, donde, donde esta luego de haber navegado aproximadamente 1 kilómetro, tuve que devolverme pero uff estaba en el carro. Otra vez 2 kilómetros de ejercicio y no había llegado al CP, este vez muy decidido pero ya cansado dude si el CP estaba en el lago o en un bosque denso.

No obstante después de que aproximadamente 2 kilómetros que deje la orilla resultó que el CP si estaba en el agua y lo lograría alcanzar después de todos los imprevistos. Esto me motivó para remar con más fuerza para alcanzar el CP y que lo conseguiría antes de amanecer. La escena maravillosa del color entre el agua, el cielo y los árboles muertos era fascinante (Pic10).

Debía encontrar un árbol para anclar, no obstante no había uno en el CP que me facilitara algo la situación. Una foto de la lectura nula del GPS no era posible debido a las olas ligeras. Una POLAR ICE era la recompensa (Pic11) y la única manera de recuperar fuerzas para navegar en contra del sol hacia mi carro en la orilla y cada vez era mas difícil por que se hacia de noche.

El viaje de vuelta al atardecer era espectacular (Pic12). Por muy difícil que fue la aventura no dejo de fascinarme de la belleza de la naturaleza que observe en el viaje al punto.

Eine Wanderung mit einem Kajak durch einen abgestorbenen Wald, ankern an einem Baum – das ist das Besondere an diesem CP.

Es waren drei Versuche notwendig um schlussendlich Erfolg zu haben. Am 26. Oktober endete die Reise auf Grund des ungeeigneten Fahrzeuges (FORD Fiesta – Pic5). Der zweite Versuch am 23. November zusammen mit Josef mit einem 4WD-Fahrzeug brachte uns bis auf 5,54 km an den CP heran. Dann standen wir am Ufer des Guri-Stausees (Pic6). Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen hatten wir den Allradantrieb mehrfach einzusetzen (Pic7).

Der dritte Anlauf war für den 7. Dezember geplant. Ein Kajak von Carlos Ordaz war organisiert und alles war bereit für den Erfolg. An diesen Sonntag waren jedoch noch einige Hindernisse zu überwinden. Nach einer Fahrt von etwa 100 km musste ich feststellen, dass ich das Paddel vergessen hatte. Also, zurück – 200 Leerkilometer. Am Frühen Nachmittag erreichte ich den geplanten Startpunkt wie beim zweiten Versuch ausgeforscht. Der Weg hin war sehr interessant und wunderschön (Pic8).

Der Weg war schwierig und länger als in der Erinnerung. Schließlich war alles bereit für den Beginn der Bootswanderung (Pic9). Pech, nach etwa 1 km stellte ich fest, die Kamera war noch im Auto. Wieder 2 km umsonst, diesmal mit Muskelkraft. Weiters bekam ich Zweifel, ob der CP nicht doch an Land zu finden war und der Wald in dieser Gegend schien undurchdringlich.

Jedoch nach etwa 2 km wendete sich das Blatt und es wurde klar, der CP lag im Wasser und war mit dem Kajak erreichbar. Dies war genug Motivation alle Kräfte zu mobilisieren um den Hin- und Rückweg vor Einbruch der Dunkelheit zu schaffen. Das wunderbare Farbenspiel zwischen Wasser, Himmel und dem Weiß der abgestorbenen Baumstrümpfe faszinierte (Pic10).

Es war leicht einen Baum zum ankern zu finden, jedoch nicht direkt am Punkt. Ein Foto von der Null-Anzeige des GPS war auf Grund des leichten Wellenganges nicht möglich. Ein POLAR-ICE war der Lohn (Pic11) und der Rückweg wurde durch die niedergehende Sonne schwierig.

Die Rückfahrt in der Dämmerung hatte seine eigenen Reize (Pic12). Alles im allen ein schöner Fleck dieser Erde.

This CP stands for a walk with a Kayak trough a dead forest and finally to anchor at a tree.

Three attempts were necessary to have success. On October 26th the journey ended due to the unsuitable car (FORD FIESTA – Pic5). The second attempt on November 23rd together with Josef using a 4WD-vehicle brought us up to 5,54 km to the CP. Then we stood on the bank of the Guri artificial lake (Pic6). In order to achieve this goal we had to use 4WD-drive option several times (Pic7).

The third approach was planned for December 7th. A Kayak was organized from Carlos Ordaz and everything was prepared and ready for success. However on this Sunday some difficulties had to be managed. After a travel of approximately 100 km I found out that I had forgotten the paddle. Now, back – 200 empty kilometers. In the early afternoon I reached the planned starting point as sureveyed during the second attempt. The route was very interesting and beautiful (Pic8).

The way was difficult and longer than anticipated. Finally everything was ready for the beginning of the boat trip (Pic9). Bad luck, after approximately 1 km, I realized that the camera still was in the car. Again 2 km in vain, this time with muscle power. Furthermore I had doubts whether the CP was not within the lake but in the dense forest

However after approximately 2 km it turned out, the CP lays in the water and was attainable with the Kayak. This was enough motivation to mobilize all remaining power to reach the CP and to get back and before dawn. The marvelous color scene between water, sky and the white, died tree was fascinating (Pic10).

It was easily to find a tree to anchor, however not directly at the point. A photo of the null reading of the GPS was not possible due to the light vawes. A POLAR ICE was the reward (Pic11) and the way back became difficult due to the sinking sun.

The return trip in the dawn was fascinating (Pic12). Everything in all a beautiful spot of this earth.
