On April 9th 2004 at 6 a.m. we (Rafael Ganmboa, Alexander Villalobos and me (Jose Sierra)) left to the hunting of a new confluence, in this occasion confluence N 11º W 72º, the GPS indicates 52 Kms to the west from the City of Maracaibo, in the Zulia state via a the Mojan town.

When arriving at the sector we turned left in the direction of the cañada el indio where we waited for people that were going to guide us and to give us security since the proximity with the border of Colombia makes this area dangerous, this is a zone that is characterized by gasoline contraband.

Soon we continued until caña brava where is the Cutupri farm, where our guide spoke with the one in charge of the property in his native language (wayú) and he indicated the way through the property until a place where the GPS indicated that we where at 150 meters of the point of confluence in a patch totally full zone of water and mud. After we filled ourselves with mud we conquered the confluence.
