14-Aug-2004 -- I had some surveying equipment 100 km west of Boliden and decided to go to take it home, and to use the fine Saturday weather for two confluence visits. The first one visited was 25 km WNW of Moskosel, about 500 m W of a logging road and just north of the logged area. It was easy to find. The GPS showed the elevation to be 383 m. The ground was dry and rocky, and the vegetation type a very sparse and old pine forest with fallen trunks and lichen hanging from the branches. The only animal life was a couple of mosquitoes. It was an immensely silent place.
I continued on logging roads and the old combined railway and road bridge over Pite älv river near Trollforsen and then to Inlandsvägen (Arvidsjaur - Jokkmokk).
