09-Sep-2004 -- Auf der Rückfahrt von unserer Alpentour machten wir einen Abstecher zum Punkt N46E006. Dank ordentlicher Vorbereitung und ebensolchem Kartenmaterial fanden wir den Punkt ohne Probleme. Der Jeep wurde am Rand der Wiese geparkt, GPS, Kamera und Reiseratte gepackt und auf ging´s !

Nach ein paar Minuten hatten ich den Punkt bei sehr gutem GPS-Empfang gefunden. Er liegt am Rand einer Wiese, nur wenige Meter von dichtem Gebüsch entfernt. Die obligatorischen Fotos von GPS, dem Punkt und dessen Umgebung waren schnell gemacht. Trotz des schönen Wetters verweilten wir nicht länger an dem Punkt, schließlich lagen noch einige hundert Kilometer Fahrt vor uns.

09-Sep-2004 -- On our way back from the alps where we have spent a week offroading we decided to visit N46 E006. We had some detailed maps of the region, so finding the point wasn’t a problem.

We parked the jeep at a meadow, took our confluence-gear, the camera and of course our travel-rat and off we go ! It took only a few minutes to locate the exact position of the confluence-point. I took the necessary photos and went back to the car. We still have some hundred kilometers to drive, so there was no time to stay at this nice point.
