This shows an example of how your visit submission would appear on your
Member page at this stage in the visit submission process.
The "Status" should be "submitting". If it is "pending", then you
used the "Finalize Submission" button, which you should not have used yet.
The reason you should not yet have finalized your submission is that you
have not yet previewed your submission, therefore you may find you want
to make some changes.
The column labelled "?" is a Yes/No field indicating whether or not
the visit was successful.
The "Photos" column shows two things. The first number is the number of
uploaded photos for this visit, not including any extra photos. The second
number is the total number of photo image files in the 'upload directory'
on our server. The 'upload directory' is named both for the confluence,
and the member. In the example shown here the second number is 20 because
I had uploaded 6 files for my first visit to 49°N 117°W, and
another 14 files(6 + 8 extras) during this visit submission example.
At this stage in the visit submission process you should use the "Preview"
link to look at your visit submission. The page may be a bit slow to load,
because it uses the full-sized original digital photo images you uploaded.
You will not be able to see the "extra" photos, and if you used links to your
photos in your narrative, they will not work yet.
When you preview your visit submission, you may find that there is something
you need to change in your visit submission, such as narrative corrections,
changing photo captions, changing the order of the photos, redoing the upload
to fix corrupted photos, etc.
