14-Nov-2015 -- After the terrorist attacks, the museums were closed, but the confluences were not. It takes 40 minutes from Gare de l'Est to Meaux by train. From here another one leaves in 10 minutes, and in another 10 minutes I am almost there. Such a convenient point!

A small village on the Marne river, dam, church, buses 3 times a day. It turns out that its name Isles-les-Meldeuses does not mean an island of jellyfishes, but the land of the inhabitants of Meaux, who were called Meldois. Although there is an island there, and the confluence point lies on it. It is reachable by a path from the bridge.

There is a farm with wallabies and porcupine in the village. The salesman in the store told something about the fact that I do not understand French. I did not buy anything, and took a train back to Paris.
