27-Jul-2020 -- During our summer holidays along the coast of the North Sea, I took the chance to visit some confluence points. The story starts at the CP 52°N 5°E, near Utrecht.
On the way direction Amsterdam I took a detour and visited this confluence point. Coming from north I left the Autobahn A2 at the exit No 9 Nieuwegein and followed the road N 210 direction south. Soon it turned right and the first roundabout appeared. I was excited, in mind, that the CP is located directly next to the roundabout. But it was not the correct one yet. In the Netherlands they do have many roundabouts! After another one I finally reached the searched one. During the approach I took the picture of the location. I parked the car in front of a gate only about 40 m north of the exact location, seen on the picture showing view to the north. The GPS reception was good, the weather was good and necessary pictures were done fast. I think the visit for the CP 52°N 5°E was one of the fastest I ever had done. Only a few cars passed by. Some coot swam on the water ditch, next to the car.
Afterwards we continued our trip direction north, to visit the city of Amsterdam.
The story continues at 53°N 6°E visit #11.
