24-Sep-2023 -- After visiting the spectacular Pont du Gard Roman Aqueduct, I drove eastward along country roads to the town of Avignon, drove under the famous Pont d’Avignon, and continued along the banks of the Rhone River for several kilometers. I eventually left the Rhone to continue along more country roads. Finally, I turned left onto a gravel farm road, about 300m from the point, found a place to park beside this road, and walked the rest of the way.

The point lies on the edge of a (currently bare) farm field, just South of a hedgerow (which runs East-West). Unfortunately this area is part of a large area of controlled airspace, so I couldn’t fly my drone to get an overhead view.
