13-May-2020 -- I visited this easy confluence on my way back to Fort Collins, Colorado from Hays, Kansas. I exited I-70 at mile 120 and navigated 5 minutes of slick dirt roads in my 2010 Honda Fit to arrive near the point, parking at the crossroads 600 feet to the northwest, no fence. I navigated the mud and cornstalk detritus without a problem and was at the confluence for less than five minutes due to the driving mist and temperature in the 40s. Birds were heard everywhere, bedding down among the stubs of last year's stalks. Beautiful in its starkness, this confluence was a refreshing pause from highway driving.
