Hoy tocaba maratón de confluencias, comunidades autónomas y provincias. Además de esta, visite los puntos 42ºN 2ºW, 41ºN 2ºW y 41ºN 3ºW.
La segunda del día fue en La Rioja, en las proximidades de Cervera del Río Alhama. Como venía de Soria pensé que el mejor camino era el mas directo, el camino que va de Valdemadera a Cervera por el barranco de la Canejada, me equivoque.

Este camino en relativamente buen estado lleva a las proximidades de la confluencia, en las cercanías de la pequeña aldea de Casillas de San Esteban, después de recorrer unos 7 km. Al terminar la visita me dirigí por dicho camino a Cervera a unos 4 km. Por los mapas topográficos e imágenes del Google Earth, esta parte de camino no me inspiraba confianza. Pues bien, los tres últimos kilómetros estaban asfaltados. Para otra vez ya se por donde ir.

La visita al punto se desarrollo sin complicaciones, después de cruzar el arroyo de la Canejada totalmente seco y de unos metros en el coche, tuve que caminar ladera arriba hasta el punto de confluencia. La vista se extiende ampliamente por todo el valle solo roto por la línea generadores eólicos situados de oeste a norte. Un paisaje algo desértico a pesar de los pequeños viñedos que se situaban en el valle. Después de un rato sentado, a por la siguiente confluencia.

Today was confluence marathon. Besides the one reported here, I visited 42ºN 2ºW, 41ºN 2ºW y 41ºN 3ºW.
Second of the day was in La Rioja, near Cervera del Río Alhama. As I came from Soria I thought that the best way was the direct one, the road that goes from Valdemadera to Cervera by the precipice of the Canejada, I was wrong.

This road is in relatively good state and leads to the proximities of the confluence, in the neighborhoods of the small village of Casillas de San Esteban, after crossing about 7 km. When finishing the visit I went to Cervera at about 4 km. By the topographic maps and images of Google Earth, this part of the road did not inspire confidence in me. Then, the three last kilometers were asphalted. For the next time I know which way to go.

The visit to the point went without complications, after crossing the Canejada stream totally dry and a few meters by car, I had to walk up a slope until the confluence point. The view extends widely to all the valley, only broken by a line of wind generators located from West to North. A somewhat deserted landscape in spite of the small vineyards in the valley. After sitting for awhile seated I was ready for the next confluence.
