  38°N 122°W (visit #9)

#1: This is as close as I could get to the confluence without joining the Navy.

(visited by Brent Bolen and Jack Gnome)

20-Jul-2005 & 12-Aug-2005. Like the previous visitors have noted, this confluence is within the fences of the Concord Naval Weapons Station. Maybe, within the next couple of years, visitors will be able to get closer to the actual confluence then the fence along the road, since the Naval Weapons Station is on the list of bases to be closed in the next round of closings. Picture #1 is the view through the fence in the direction of the confluence.

Picture #3 is a picture of the GPS at the fence. When I visited the confluence on July 20th, I failed to make sure the pictures of the GPS came out, so I had to return on August 12th on the way to 38N-121W to get a usable picture of the GPS.

Picture #2 is a panorama looking in the direction of the confluence. The left side of the picture is toward the North, the center of the picture is toward the confluence, and the right side of the picture is toward the South.
