26-Sep-2005 -- This was my first confluence, although I wasnt the first to visit by a long shot. I grew up locally around here, my family lives not many miles away, so I was surprised to learn there was a confluence right on my doorstep. I just had to see it! I usually go geocaching, and this was my first confluence. I live in Japan but am over here on holiday for the week, I have visited most geocaches in the Tokyo area, but Japan is a very mountainous country so most of the confluences are in hard to reach places, unlike here in Suffolk where the land is very flat.

The field has recently been plowed, in fact the farmers were just in the next field still plowing, so I was quite a bit nervous to walk out to the middle of their land. So I waited until the tractor had moved off, and then walked out to the confluence and took the photos.

At the confluence I could get the best ever GPS accuracy I have ever seen: +/- 2m! wow!
