27-May-2007 -- This was the first of three confluences on the second day of a Memorial Day Weekend GPS marathon. 42N 71W is in a quiet residential neighborhood of Bridgewater, MA, pretty much in the middle of Mile Brook Road in front of a small green rambler at 16 Mile Brook Rd (photo #1 to the south). The attractive landscaping here included a beautiful salmon colored azalea (I think) plant (photo #6) beside the driveway and another white one in front of the house. A blue hydrangea was just beginning to bloom near the street. In the view to the north (photo #2) a truck and trailer with Troop 29 Boy Scouts of America lettered on it is parked in the driveway. Photos #3 and #4 show the view east and west on Mile Brook Road. Photo #5 shows all zeros on my GPSr which is lying in the middle of the street. This was my first confluence in Massachusetts and my furthest east so far.
