12-Aug-2007 -- Another Saturday rolls past and as it is a lovely summer's evening and my wife & eldest daughter are watching rubbish on television I decided to nip out and take in a confluence point - as you would.
I have been to this point several times before and wondered about trying an alternate route in, a quick check on google earth shows several alternatives. I know though that there is an SSSI in the vicinity so decide to take the "normal" route in.
An uneventful drive down and I park at the entrance to the bridleway, but someone (a farmer I suspect) has dumped a load of rubble there.
I walk through fields waiting to be harvested and continue on to the target. Pop through the hedge and find that the field I want to be in has already been cut!
Follow the field around the edge and quickly arrive at the spot, this shot shows the typical Garmin behaviour of flip-flopping between E0 & W0.
take some location photo's then walk back out and head home. Visit 97 in the bag.
