14-May-2008 -- Here we go again for *yet* another repeat visit to this point. I am down just off the M25 at Waltham Abbey for a technical workshop run by a lender and decided to go here on the way home.
I have been here several times before, my wife knowing this, said to me "why are you going there again?" A good question and one I must admit that I asked myself. Apart from the obvious one of "because it's there", you never know it might look different?
Didn't it just! Today it looked like this, whereas previously it looked different and even more different.
So there IS a valid reason to go back, in fact I am coming round to thinking that repeat visits are just as if not maybe a bit more important than first visits.
Yet again our farmer friend stuck to driving his tractor along the Prime Meridian when sowing the crop (well 4 feet off) so getting there was simple.
I have taken the photo's this time with the Canon 10-22 wide angle lens to give some idea of how open it is. The usual suspects North, East, South and West are presented. As is a slightly lower level view.
As I drove along the B1368 towards Barkway, I stopped a couple of times and took these panoramas.
I have also included an HDR version of the shot looking to the West.
