07-Dec-2007 -- On my way back home from Eastern Bavaria where many roads were flooded due to very heavy rain and I was forced to make several detours, I decided to travel along latitude 50°N and visit three confluences that day...
I made the mistake that I came from the town of Leutendorf, from where a very bad unpaved road leads to Kleinwendern, a small spot nearby the confluence. The better way is to come from Bad Alexandersbad.
After arriving, I put on my rain clothes and walked through the very muddy forest and after half an hour walk straight uphill climbing over fallen trees, I found the confluence with a box containing a pen and a sheet, where you can leave name and date.
I took my photos and left as the rain got stronger and stronger. I will return to this place sometime in summer.
