DCP: (visit #2)

07-Oct-2007 -- Clayton and I had just visited Prince Leonard and Princess Shirley at Hutt River Province a place that I had wanted to visit with Clayton for many years. As I was only in Australia for three weeks we had to plan our weekend away to make sure we could both visit Hutt River and also fit in a CP visit, so the closest CP was the one headed for.

Leaving Hutt River in the morning we drove East to refuel Claytons 4x4 at Binnu and also get a little bite to eat, and ask a couple of locals about the roads East. This CP is an easy one as you can drive to within 140m of it, we headed North from Binnu, then took the Binnu Road East, which is a good road. About 20km along this road you come to the Bella Whelarra Road which will bring to along side the CP, however just before you get to the CP from the South you will see a small farm track through a gate, which was open, this small track will take you within 140m of the CP.

Clayton and I walked in from the Road, across the paddock that was very dry, Prince Leonard was telling us the night before that the season had not been very good with very little rain. Once we took the photos we headed back to the 4x4 for the drive back to Perth. Great weekend with Clayton as they always are.
