22-Jun-2008 -- Cheryl and I were on our way home (Washington, DC area) from a square dance weekend in Milwaukee and as is our custom, we scheduled a number of GPS activities (geodashing and confluence visits) to break up the monotony of the long drive. After passing north of Indianapolis, we diverted north of I-69 the 3.5 miles on IN-37 to Noblesville. I parked at the north end of the shopping center at the intersection of IN-37 and E 146th St. and walked the quarter mile or so to 86W along 146th St. The pond/lake (photo #1) was between me and the confluence. As noted on the GPSr (photo #5), at the edge of the water I was 215 feet directly north of the confluence. North of me in photo #4 was 146th Street. To the east (photo #2) was the sign for “Riverview Medical Arts” at 14540 146th. Photo #3 shows the view back to the west, the direction from which I walked to get to the confluence.
