Note: This was the first nighttime confluence.
01-Apr-2000 -- While in Indianapolis, IN. to see the NCAA 
Men's Final Four my friends and I decided to visit a point.  My GPS 
indicated there was one near us to the north.  So at 2am, with my 
girlfriend as our designated driver we took off in search of the point.  
This was to be my first attempt at reaching a point without using a 
detailed map (1:200,000) to get close.  We headed northeast on the 
interstate until we crossed the latitude line, we took the next exit and 
headed west.  We wound thru the woods and came to an intersection 
that was just northwest of the point.  We turned south and found a road 
running east-west near the point.  We drove east until we reached the 
longitude line and found a place to pull the car off the road.  We could 
see the lights of buildings to the south but I'm not sure exactly what we 
walked on since it was the middle of the night and dark.  We found the 
point just off the road to the south.  It appeared to be the beginnings of 
a new development site, but in the dark we could not really tell.  It was 
a fun time for the three of us but unfortunately upon returning home 
and accessing the internet we discovered that this point had allready 
been visited.
