02-Oct-2008 -- We started out from Mauze-sur-le Mignon, just north of Surgeres and took the 911 down towards Rochefort. Then we took the motorway A837 for about 5 km in the direction of La Rochelle and got off to the north when we saw a sign pointing towards Breuil Magne.

We then went back along the railwayline a couple of kilometers till we found a signpost to L'Houmee. The road ended at that former farm, now a residence. From there is was easy going through a newly ploughed field to the confluence point, about 500 meters further on. We were lucky with the weather, the field was not wet and the sun was shining. An easy visit.
