31-Dec-2008 -- A family trip to the wonderful Island Poel between Lübeck and Rostock in the Baltic Sea brought us in the area of this confluence. One morning, after having done the shopping tour in Wismar, my daughter and I drove the highway no. 20 from Wismar to Rostock.

The confluence is located only approx. 300 m away from the highway. We left the 20 at the exit Bad Doberan and passed some small villages until we finally crossed the highway again and found a small path to come close to the confluence location. The weather was wonderful: very cold but sunny and perfect GPS signal.

The signal was very constant and we got the Zeros within seconds. This confluence is best to visit in winter as the field can be crossed easily and no curious farmers are around...We took the photos and went back to the rest of the family waiting for us exploring the icy beaches of the small island Poel...
