06-Sep-2009 -- This is the 82nd of a series of 83 confluence visits during our voyage from Nigeria to Europe and back to Nigeria around the entire African continent. It all started on 28 January 2008 at 11N 5E.

Story continues from 0 12E.

We spent the last couple of days relaxing from the very exhausting trip from Mamfe in Cameroon via Calabar to Uyo. Our friend Hans made us more than welcome at his house. From his house the Confluence is only 7 km.

We took the road to the airport which leads past the Confluence by 2 km, then we turned onto a dirt road which lead us directly to the Confluence.

The Confluence is situated inside the house seen on the picture marked 'East'. That made it not possible to line up all the zeros.
