22-Jan-2011 -- Normally I refrain to post a visit of a CP if this CP has been documented very well. But when I saw the previous visits I realized that something has changed during the last visit 2.5 years ago. The house east of the Confluence Point is not the same any more. One of the major goals of this project is to document the changes of the location over time thus I changed my mind.

After a pleasant drive through the countryside of Wisconsin I parked my car 170 meters beeline to the point. I walked on a residential street until I reached the point, which is located on a driveway. According to my GPS receiver the exact point is on the edge of a garage. The view to the north from the exact point would be extremely boring, because you would see the wall of the building. So I took the north and the east view pictures about 10 meters west of the exact point.

As reported by the previous visitor alpine style houses are common in this area, an unusual sight in the US.
Back at my car I encircled the lake and proceeded to Madison, the capital of Wisconsin.
