28-Jun-2015 -- Another confluence in a standing crop (Oilseed Rape) and this time no helpful tractor tracks to take me closer. But I am well satisfied with a 65 metre approach.

A straightforward visit on a lovely summer evening. Without confluence.org I would have flown past, not detouring from the main routes and not enjoyed some of the region's best squiggly roads.

The village of Umberleigh looks interesting and there is plenty to see in the area but I did not have the correct card for the local campsite - so no overnight and no exploration.
