23-Jun-2016 -- I visited this confluence while staying in Santa Fe on vacation. I drove south on US-285 and NM-41 into Moriarty, crossed the interstate, then drove about three miles east on Martinez Road until I was immediately south of the confluence.
I was amused to see that the barbed-wire fencing that fronts the pasture was pried apart here, probably by previous visitors to this point. Why else would anyone come here?
I walked to the point near a tree. I could not get all zeroes without entering into the branches, so I settled for "close enough". The round-trip walk took about 10 minutes.
The weather was warm (about 90 F/33 C) but with thunderstorms nearby and heavy rain with hail. However, for my brief visit, all I had was warm humid conditions.
