10-Feb-2017 -- Our winter trip this year includes some confluences as well as a guided tour in Swedish woods, offered by Wild Sweden.
We are heading south now and this is our last confluence before we drive home. Arriving close to the spot, we experience that this crossing is located on privat ground. Privat signs and camera surveillance of the area made us hesitate to continue our way by foot immediately. While we opened up the computer to read through older visits of this site finding some hints, a Swedish man came along the parkway and started a talk with us in very good German. We were allowed to enter and it was lots of fun to search for and find the confluence. It is located in the park area around a big house. The whole composition looks like an ancient slot and engravements in stone tell the story of this place starting in 17th century! You can find more about it here in Swedish language.
We take some more pictures of buildings and nature, write a note for the current inhabitants of this wonderful place and pin it at the Iron Gate. The end of our winter tour is close, just some more hours to drive back home.
