13-Aug-2022 -- This is the 9th of 10 CP visits made during a 6 week trip to Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

Having spent over a week hiking and cycling a number of sections of the Skaneleden it was time to head North and visit my first Swedish CP of the holiday. I arrived at the entrance to Ovesholm Slott (Manor ?). There was an arrow with a parking sigh pointing into the grounds but immediately a no entry sigh except for allowed traffic. Totally confused and not wanting to annoy anyone I left the car near the entrance and walked to the CP. The reason for the parking sign became clear as I walked to the CP: a stage was set up near the manor with a parking area in a field nearby for the visitors.

I walked along the lake (Overholmsjön) past stone buildings and a wall to the CP. A bit of a confluence ensued, presumably because of the tree cover, but I got my photos and headed back to the car.
