11-Oct-2017 -- On 11 October 2017 I was on my way to Dunkerque to attend a professionnal meeting scheduled on the next day. My flight landed at the Lille aiport and I took this occasion to make a large side trip between Lille and Dunkerque to visit this CP in Belgium.
This is the 15th visit to that CP. It is located in a private property in or close to the inner side of a tall hedge framing the north side of the property. Walking between the hedge and the field north of it brought me at 6.5 meters from the CP. I didn’t want to ask permission from the land owner to enter the property to zero in the point but while coming around the NE corner of the property, I met Mrs Dezilter who was leaving her place with her car. She told me that she and her husband were aware of the Degree Confluence Project and would be happy to check my visit on the web site. As already mentioned by previous visitors, the confluence is indicated by a special sign on the house.
Before leaving the area, I took a picture from the garden over the fence framing the south eastern part of the property.
One more special word to Rainer Mautz who visited this CP back in 2015: Rainer, you can now reach this CP biking on the brand new West Vlanderen bike path!
I also visited the nice city of Dixmude before reaching Dunkerque at the end of the afternoon.
