13-May-2018 --
After visiting the confluence 52°N 15°E earlier this day, I reached the area of the CP 51°N 15°E around 05:30 p.m.
By heading the road No. 13 in Poland direction south, I reached the Czech Republic immediately after leaving Zawidów. After only two km the GPS leads direction east, on a smaller road. I passed the village Černousy and saw the sign, showing the way to Loučná. Some wind energy converters worked at the horizon that direction. After a last turn to the right the nearer area of the CP was already visible in a distance of about 350 m. After passing the village sign "Andělka", around 100 m in front of the CP, I reached the exact location of the confluence point 52°N 15°E.
In comparison with the last visit three years ago I couldn't experience any change at the spot. The mentioned signs explaining the small wind farm Andělka, the geography and the history of the village Andělka were intact, as well as the fence around the spot, the stony monument, and the two benches. The nearby located stables didn't seem to be in use. Nobody was to be seen at the spot or in the surroundings. Caused by the good weather conditions and the relatively flat vicinity, I could do the picture of the GPS reading showing a precision of only 2 m. After the other necessary pictures for the documentation, I started my way back. I took the road 0353 direction north and did a picture of an abandoned agricultural machine (potato harvester?). Soon I reached the border to Poland again. Here I passed the storage lake Niedów (zbiornik wodny Niedów). Inside Poland I had to go about 8 km only to reach the village Tauchritz, located in Germany.
All together 51°N 15°E was a very easy to reach confluence point. Additionally this CP is one of the best marked CPs I ever visited - so far.
